Absolutely. Contact us for details about becoming a dealer of Hula Boat Care’s boat products, including the Standard Gel Coat Restoration Kit.

  1. After the boat has been cleaned and prepped for buffing, apply a small amount of Hang Ten Gel Coat buffing compound to the pad of your buffer machine. Start the buffer at a speed of 1500 to 1800 rpm to spread the compound evenly. Move the buffer in a slow, overlapping motion, ensuring that you cover all areas of the gel coat.
  2. After buffing each section, wipe off the excess compound and inspect the surface. If it’s not as shiny as you’d like, repeat the process.
  3. Follow up with HBC-14 Big Kahuna Polymer to preserve the finish from the elements

Restoring the gel coat of your fiberglass boat using Hula’s Gel Coat Restoration products is a process that involves several steps aimed at providing your boat with a rejuvenated, high-gloss finish.

  1. Clean the surface: Begin by thoroughly cleaning your boat’s surface to remove any dirt, grime, or salt deposits. You can use the Riptide Liquid Gel Coat Compound to remove sanding marks and oxidation. The compound is designed to gently yet effectively clean the surface without damaging it.
  2. Apply Hula’s gel coat restorer: Once the boat is prepped for polish and waxing, apply Hang Ten Gel Coat Cleaner Wax #13. This cleaner wax is designed to restore the shine and color to your boat’s gel coat and offer protection to the boat’s surfaces. Apply the wax with a clean, dry cloth or a buffer machine, working in small sections and using a circular motion for even coverage.
  3. Let the restorer dry: Allow the restorer to dry then remove any excess with a cloth.
  4. Apply Big Kahuna Gel Coat Polymer Sealant: The final step is to apply Hula’s Sealant. This product provides a protective layer over the newly restored gel coat, helping to preserve its finish and shield it from harsh marine conditions. Apply the sealant in the same manner as the restorer, then allow it to dry and buff it for a high-gloss finish.

This Standard Boat Gel Coat Restoration Kit comes with all the products you need to restore your fiberglass boat’s shine and protect it.
